Spy Guys: In Training

Spy Guys: In Training is a new movie that my cousins, my brother and I are making. So far, all we have is the script, but that doesn't matter. It is a very well writ movie with lots of action and comedy. I'll keep you posted about all the new things going on in this awesome undertaking.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Star Wars The Clone Wars is a new Star Wars movie that takes place between Episode two and three. It is also the first Star Wars movie that is not live action. There are many great things that are in the movie, and very few bad things.

The Good:

Like I said, there are many great things in the movie. Here is a list.

The droids are hilariously stupid. This gives the movie a funny side.

Pretty much the entire movie is battle sequences. This gives endless action, which is what all of us like about Star Wars.

The dialogue is simple enough for the slightest of Star Wars fans to understand. It is not so crazy that you would have to read all the books that they have to understand.

It gives no reference to Anakin's future betrayal. This gives young viewers who haven't seen all the movies a chance to experience the full Star Wars experience.

The theme music sounds more modern. It is a nice remix to the old Star Wars theme.

And now, the Bad:

Also like I said earlier, there are very few bad things. Here is the very short list.

It assumes that you have already seen episodes one and two. Before seeing this movie, you should watch the first two movies.

It is almost not like Star Wars. Only three people from the original movies are the voices in this one; Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu, the guy that plays C-3PO, and some other guy.

Overall, this is a very good movie and will probably win one of my awards at the end of the year. My final rating for it is an A+.

My birthday is in 15 days on July 30th, and I am very excited because I might be getting an air soft rifle. I want one with both semi and full automatic. There is a website that has a lot on there that are awesome. If you want to see some, click on the links below.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Sorry I haven't posted in almost two months, but nothing interesting has happened in my life or I just haven't felt like writing what has been going on. On Memorial day, my dad and I went to go to see the new Indiana Jones movie. It was a very good movie, but not as good as I expected. Everyone has been expecting big things from it and I think that it was a little over-rated. The actors did very good except for at the very beginning where Harrison Ford didn't sound convincing at all for the situation. There were some funny parts and some expected-unexpected things. The ending is kind of predictable when you see a big 51 on warehouse doors. All and all, I'd say it is a very good movie, but it could have been better. I'd give it an A-.

NCAA

The ACC Tournament starts on Thursday at noon with Wake Forest playing Florida State. I have my ACC tournament bracket compleated. I pick Wake Forest over FSU, Miami beating State, Virginia beating GT, and Maryland winning against BC. On Friday, UNC over Wake, VT over Miami, Duke beating Virginia, and Maryland beating the Tigers of Clemson. On Saturday, the Heels winning against the Hokies, and Duke beating the Terps. And in the championship game on Sunday, the Heels will beat the Blue Devils 73-69. For the NCAA tourny, my 1 seeds are UCLA, Tennessee, UNC, and Memphis. Duke will be a 3, Drake will be a 3 or a 4, and Kentucky will barely make it as a 13. I pick Tennessee and UNC in the championship game, if they are not on the same side of the bracket. My Final 4, if none of them are in the same bracket, is UNC, Tennessee, Duke, and Kansas St.

UNC

UNC beat Boston College on Saturday 90-80 and last night, they beat Florida State, 90-77. They have one last regular season game on Saturday night against Duke. It is on ESPN at 8:00. It is also where they are going to have College Gameday. If Carolina beats Duke, they will finish the season ranked No. 1 in both the ACC and the NCAA. They will also pretty much guarentee a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament. If the bracket works out this way, I think that the Final Four teams will be UNC, Memphis, Kansas, and Drake. Yes, I did put Drake. I think that they will be the bracket buster of this tournament. But that is only if they are not in the same bracket as one of the other three or Duke or Tennessee. I think Kentucky will get to the Sweet Sixteen and then lose. The ACC teams that I think will make the tournament are UNC, Duke, Clemson, Maryland, and possibly Miami.

Basketball

My basketball team finished it's season on Monday, with a loss. We were 0-11 (if you count the playoffs) and losing the last game made it worse. I had a record season with 45 points in the 9 games that I played. Now I will talk about happier things. UNC beat Wake Forest on Sunday with a score of 89-73. with only 3 games to go until the ACC Tournament, we have to win all 3, including Duke, to be the number 1 team in the ACC and to get a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
